Multimedia-Display was developed to facilitate the teleoperation
interacted between
a human operator and robots located in a remote site by providing
comprehensive realtime visualization in 3D. The novel display has:
- hardware supported multiwindow management
- realtime three dimensional graphics
- superimposition of hidden-line eliminated images on TV camera images
- binocular stereo vision by flickering shutter lenses
The display could be used for the realtime simulation of robots.
The real Real-time graphics enables perception of dynamics in the simulation.
The simulation could be performed with the robot model drawn on
the real images from the remote operation site.
